Our Work
On September 17, 2022, Kunaal conducted a session with 25 students of the NGO Bal Ashram. Here, he introduced them to the fundamentals of programming by defining terms like hacking, and getting to know more about Python, and hackathons during the session. The session was interactive and included visual demonstrations of the software programming, along with other engaging activities to deliver the content to the children.
The second session conducted on December 26 2022 covered several fundamental aspects of the internet. Students were introduced to the concept of a web browser, following which the importance of the internet was briefly discussed. Next, the session walked students through the main parts of the web browser such as History, Search bar, and the different navigation tools. Students learnt what we mean by Cookies in the context of the internet and its different types. Additionally, the session touched upon the concept of blockchain and how cryptocurrency differed from digital currency. Towards the end, the types of Memory such as RAM and ROM were discussed. Kunaal concluded the session by sharing his youtube channel with the students so that they could learn about fundamental concepts free-of-cost and at their convenience!
So that children may further familiarize themselves with these aspects of the computer, Kunaal donated 20 headphone sets and 5 speakers to benefit the students of Bal Ashram!
