About the project

Hack.in is a STEM-education and programming project for underprivileged children in India. It aims to promote competitive hackathons as a way to alleviate inequality, foster inclusion, and empower children from underserved communities. Through engaging learning resources and hackathons, the project aims to introduce young learners to the functions of programming.

The social initiative aims to disseminate STEM-based knowledge and spark an interest in the field among the youth. The project is based on the firm belief that technical skills are not the reserve of those who can afford to acquire them. Access to learning and lucrative employment opportunities should be promoted among communities that need them the most.
